Every March 22 is World Water Day! We all know that water is an essential part of life, and something we need to work to conserve. With climate change and the hyper-consumptive world we live in, taking care of our resources has never been more important. One important way to help is to support legislation to make changes in the industrial use of water.
Water usage is a huge issue in Social and Sustainable Development because water is the most vital element of human survival, but unfortunately, it is not accessible to everyone in the world. Clean water and sanitation are not guaranteed to everyone. Understanding how water systems work can help us influence government leaders to give equal access to clean water to everyone and to spread awareness about this issue so that we can all work together with the government to give everyone access to this basic human need.
