LEE Methodology

The Peace Building LEE Methodology System of Learning

by Joshua Kirshbaum

In the heart of Social Change. Located at 126 Harlem - partnering with Nonviolence International New York, we have put together a set of educational programs that are designed to achieve three things.

LISTEN

EDUCATE

EMPOWER

LISTEN

Each programs begins with a fully immersive orientation - built to test participants and build a safe platform for them to express their passions & goals. Together, we venture to find causes that are important for each of the participants and lay out a map of issues they would like to cover in their time with us.

EDUCATE

After establishing the goals and passions of each participant, we explore the limits of their knowledge platform. We build a curriculum of reading materials and invite experts to consult when building their projects and campaigns.

EMPOWER

Now that we have a solid layout for the semester and a fully approved plan, this is when we source for sponsors across civil society and different networks around the world to back the projects and the plan that they have laid out. Since they have the backing of these international organizations, they get the full backing of the Nonviolent Resource Center and Nonviolence International New York - we guide and empower the organizer for success!

Working with our Partners, we integrate every participant into active roles in civil society building and cultivating different types of projects and campaigns that will be used around the globe.

When you join a LEE Powered program with Nonviolence International New York and the Nonviolent Resource Center, you become a crucial element in the next step in the pursuit for a better future for us all. Below are our active programs that are designed for you to build your network, body of work and participate in a global movement.
