For students who would like to live in a dormitory type facility, the Nonviolence International New York offers double room accommodations and Triple room accommodations. Room amenities include private bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, WiFi, cable television, room to study, and plenty of storage. These accommodations are a brief subway ride to both the Nonviolence Resource Center and the United Nations. Student resident housing fees are based on the length of their program and average approximately $679 - $982 a month per person. Off Third Avenue is located in a friendly neighborhood that’s just as close to museums as it is to restaurants and shops. You’ll make friends with students from around the world in our communal lounges, kitchens, game room and library. With an on-site fitness center and laundry room that texts when your clothes are done, you’ll love this amenity-packed building.

Student Residency amenities & accommodations :

  1. Live-in assistance, Welcome Package and help to settle in on the first day

  2. NYC guidance tour (including local groceries and navigating the subway) and Nonviolence-NYC-Map (listing all locations you'll need in Civil Society at the United nations here in NYC)

  3. 5 min walk to the 4, 5, & 6 Lines and the m14, bus 2, bus 3

  4. Room Amenities include a private bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, WiFi, cable television, room to study, and plenty of storage

  5. Discount (Food & other) grocery delivery service (savings of over 30% on average depending on the number of participants ) 

  6. Weekly in dorm events (ex; pizza party, holiday parties, & birthdays)

  7. Weekend field trips around NYC (ex; Group trip to the mett, Yankee stadium, & discount broadway plays)

  8. In building Gym, laundry, 2 common spaces, 3 meeting spaces,  fully functioning Kitchen, & Utilities Included 

  9. Access to counseling, HR support, guidance to NYC Gov services and emergency service, and 24hr guidance on any issue

  10. Homework and study support
